Public Enemy, Lightning Bolt and Swans join the ATP Iceland line-up
Hip-hop icons Public Enemy, post-punk experimentalists Swans and Rhode Island noiserock duo Lightning Bolt are among the latest additions to the bill for the ATP Iceland festival.
They join Scottish indie kingpins Belle & Sebastian, Montreal texturalists Godspeed You! Black Emperor and punk godfather Iggy Pop in a typically eclectic line-up. Bardo Pond, Grísalappalísa and Valdimar also feature in the newest announcements, joining veterans Loop, Mudhoney and Drive Like Jehu alongside relative newcomers such as Run The Jewels, Ought and Deafheaven.
Public Enemy's appearance will be their first ever performance in Iceland, while the festival also marks Lightning Bolt's first visit to Europe since playing one of ATP's now-defunct Minehead festivals in 2009.
