SAY Award-nominated Glasgow duo Happy Meals and Bournemouth electronic producer East India Youth are amongst the final announcements for Electric Fields festival at Drumlanrig Castle this August.

They join Blanck Mass, the solo project of Fuck Buttons' Benjamin John Power, on The Skinny stage in the event's second year – Birdhead, Vessels, Fat Goth, Catholic Action, United Fruit and Outblinker are also playing our stage, programmed as part of our tenth birthday celebrations.

Happy Meals – aka Suzanne Rodden and Lewis Cook – are on the Scottish Album of the Year award shortlist for their debut LP Apéro, which preceded a tour that saw the duo play a series of shows in Russia. William Doyle's debut album as East India Youth, Total Strife Forever, was nominated for the 2014 Mercury Prize – follow-up CULTURE OF VOLUME was released this past April.

Electric Fields' main stage is headlined by Fife folk mainstay King Creosote, with The Phantom Band, Paws, Miaoux Miaoux and Golden Teacher also on the billing.

Electric Fields 2015 takes place on 29 Aug at Drumlanrig Castle, Dumfries & Galloway.
