Glad Café and GoldFlakePaint team up for Sucker Punch festival
This May sees Glasgow venue The Glad Café join forces with music webzine GoldFlakePaint to present the inaugural Sucker Punch mini weekender.
Drawing from the best of emerging Scottish music – including Moshi Moshi electro-wonders Babe, hometown fuzz-meisters Tuff Love and a 'special live-visual show' courtesy of Edinburgh alt-folk hero Rob St. John – the event will take place between 29-30 May.
As part of the celebrations for GoldFlakePaint's birthday, there will also be an array of new acts from beyond the border, with noisy Leeds-based melodicists Bruising and London's ambient folk singer Sophie Jameson among those confirmed thus far – and plenty more yet to be announced. We'll have a pair of tickets to give away in our weekly newsletter soon, sign up here to be in with a chance.
