Caribou, Wu-Tang Clan, FKA Twigs lead Parklife 2015 lineup

Caribou, The Roots, Metronomy and the Wu-Tang Clan are among a host of big names announced for the Parklife weekender in Manchester on 6 and 7 June.

Dan Snaith and Caribou – who have previously been confirmed for the Field Day festival in London on the same weekend – headline the festival's 'Sounds of the Near Future' stage, with hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan adding the Parklife date to their UK tour in support of new LP A Better Tomorrow. Pop icon Grace Jones is also on the bill as a ‘special guest’ on the main stage on Sunday having recently confirmed a headline slot at Festival No. 6, with full-band hip-hop titans The Roots taking the same role on Saturday’s line-up.

Jamie XX – whose new ballet Tree of Codes premieres at Manchester International Festival in July – is also on the bill, as is rising Liverpool star Låpsley. The 2015 lineup also features FKA TwigsJames Blake, GhostpoetEverything Everything, Nas, Action Bronson and BADBADNOTGOOD across the weekend.

The festival, presented by Manchester clubbing institution the Warehouse Project, is headlined by dance-pop duo Disclosure and drum and bass quartet Rudimental.

Tickets for Parklife go on sale tomorrow (Fri 13 Feb); weekend tickets are £89.50, one-day passes are £54.50.
