Threshold Festival 2017: First bands confirmed
The first acts for next year's Threshold Festival in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle have been announced
Neo-soul songwriter XamVolo heads the initial line-up alongside the previously-confirmed Hannah Peel. Also added to the bill for the festival's seventh edition are Norwegian avant-garde pop musician and DFA Records signing Nils Bech, Threshold 2016 veterans Lilium and Galactic Funk Militia and 'speaker-shredding' six-piece Hey Colossus. Announcing the batch of bands for 2017, Threshold Festival co-founder Chris Carney said: "We're really excited to bring you the first wave of acts for Threshold 7. The team have worked incredibly hard and carefully chosen some our favourite musical gems from Liverpool and as far off as Norway. With well over 2000 submissions to play, we're humbled to be a festival in demand."
