Liverpool Sound City 2014
For three days over 1-3 May, Liverpool didn't get a wink of shuteye as the now mammoth Sound City festival brought an embarrassment of music talent to the city. Alongside a conference delving into the inner workings of the music industry, 360 artists, including Bird, Ex-Easter Island Head, Jon Hopkins, Tea Street Band and Jagwar Ma pitched up at more than 30 venues for what is now the largest metropolitan music and arts festival in the UK.
You can read our review of the weekend here – while below, here's what our photographer, David Howarth, caught of the event.
