Belle and Sebastian reveal new clip for ‘The Party Line’
Belle and Sebastian have shared the video for The Party Line, the first single from their new album Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance.
The clip, directed by Cudmore + Leblanc and shot in Toronto, Canada, is a through-the-years exploration of the history of partying, complete with plenty of well-choreographed jiving. The new LP from Stuart Murdoch and co – their first for nearly five years – is out on CD, digital, double vinyl, and limited edition 4-disc vinyl box set on 20 Jan, via Matador.
Belle and Sebastian were last month confirmed as the headliners for the 2015 Liverpool Sound City Festival, playing the festival’s new Bramley Moore Dock location on 24 May. The band are also set for a major show at Glasgow’s Hydro arena, complete with the Scottish Festival Orchestra, on 22 May.
