Mogwai reveal 'Music Industry 3. Fitness Industry 1.' EP

Glasgow post-rockers Mogwai have unveiled a new EP of remixes and previously-unreleased material, capping one of their biggest years to date.

Music Industry 3. Fitness Industry 1. features three tracks written during sessions for this year's Rave Tapes LP, as well as three remixes of tracks which featured on the five-star record released at the start of 2014.

Blanck Mass, Pye Corner Audio and Nils Frahm contribute remixes of Rave Tapes tracks, alongside fresh cuts Teenage Exorcists, History Day, and HMP Shaun William Ryder. Listen to lead track Teenage Exorcists in the player below.

The release ends a busy 2014 for the band, with a major global tour including a headline set at this summer's East End Social's Last Big Weekend all-dayer at Glasgow's Richmond Park. Their soundtrack album for French TV series Les Revenants was also nominated for this year's Scottish Album of the Year Award.

Music Industry 3. Fitness Industry 1. is out on CD, download and 12'' vinyl on 1 Dec, via Rock Action. The band play Aberdeen Music Hall on Tue 21 Oct, and Liverpool's Camp and Furnace on Fri 24 Oct as part of Liverpool Music Week.
