Table Scraps – Sick of Me (Video Premiere)
Watch the new video for Sick of Me by Birmingham's Table Scraps
Birmingham three-piece Table Scraps – made up of Scott Vincent Abbott, Poppy Twist and TJ – are set to release their latest album Autonomy on 23 Feb via Zen Ten. Sick of Me is the first single to be taken from the new album, and like their previous material it has a real retro sensibility and 60s garage rock’n’roll feel about it. At not even two-and-a-half-minutes long, it’s a pleasing slice of fuzzy garage rock that requires repeat listens.
The Skinny are delighted to be premiering the new music video for Sick of Me, which you can watch in the player above. “We wanted to shoot a video based around a horrible day at a fun fair,” bassist and vocalist TJ tells us, “ending in fake puke that we would green screen over in post [production], and planned to shoot it the afternoon before a gig in Brighton.
“We ended up not managing to get down to the pier in time before the gig that day so had to shoot it the morning after partying all night. Needless to say, no acting was required and we actually *did* have the worst day at the pier thanks to being hungover, tired, and Scott actually throwing up off the pier.”
Autonomy is set for release on 23 Feb via Zen Ten.
