Mercury Prize 2016: Shortlist announced
The twelve-act shortlist for this year's Hyundai Mercury Prize has been announced this morning.
Blackstar, the final album from the late David Bowie, heads up the nominations, while Radiohead receive a record-setting fifth nomination for their latest album A Moon Shaped Pool. Also on this year's shortlist are the new albums from Bat For Lashes and Savages, as well as Hopelessness by Anohni.
The winner of this year's Mercury Prize will be announced on 15 Sep in London; read the full shortlist below.
