Optimo reveal Optimo 20 festival at SWG3

JD Twitch and JG Wilkes will celebrate two decades of music with an all-day takeover of the entire SWG3 complex. The internationally-minded initial line-up features DJ sets from Ben UFO, The Black Madonna, Midland and Apeiron Crew, plus live sets from Ghanaian musician King Ayisoba, Glasgow synth-pop duo Happy Meals, Finnish trio K-X-P and Washington producer Aurora Halal.

The event will see Optimo take over the SWG3 complex and the next-door Galvanizer’s Yard, hosting a trio of stages to "represent the music and ethos Optimo has loved and championed over the years." A portion of the profits from Optimo 20 will be donated to Glasgow’s Coalition For Racial Equality & Rights and to various Glasgow Foodbanks.
