Warpaint reveal Daughter remix from Record Store Day 2015 EP

Warpaint have shared their remix of Daughter track ‘Winter’, ahead of the release of a split remix EP from the two bands on Record Store Day next year.

Warpaint – who featured on the cover of our 100th issue back in January following the release of the art rockers’ self-titled second album in January – add some electronic beats and synths to Elena Tonra’s understated vocals and the atmospheric instrumentation of the original. Winter is pulled from Daughter's "lyrically candid and acoustically fresh" debut album If You Leave – read our review of the LP here.

Daughter’s remix of a Warpaint track will be shared at a later date, with both remixes and originals featuring on a vinyl EP to be released on Record Store Day, Sat 18 Apr 2015, via 4AD.
