Home to the famous, alliterative and possibly the hottest curry in the world is Kismot Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant. The Kismot Killer comes with its own disclaimer stating 'if you die whilst eating or as a direct result of eating the curry, members of the table with you must share the cost of your Kismot Killer'. It’s completely free if you finish it, though, so definitely worth the challenge! But if you fail, the hall of shame awaits. This competitive aspect of curry eating is not mandatory at Kismot, of course. They do chicken korma as well. And marshmallow and chocolate naan, too!
Kismot also has a successful history when it comes to our Food and Drink Survey, too. Every year, we hold a Food and Drink survey in which you, the readers, can vote for your favourite bars, restaurants, cafes and food shops in your area. Kismot was voted into the category "Best of the Indian Subcontinent", along with the likes of Mother India Cafe and Tuk Tuk. If you're keen to get more info about international food in Scotland, check out our feature about Kismot and the rest of the victors within the category. What's more, you can also have a read of our full list of winners from the 2014 Food and Drink Survey, and get comprehensively acquainted with the best eateries and drinkeries in Scotland. Oh, and while you're there, might as well check out the 2015 list too, right?
