Stereo is situated on Renfield Lane, in a building designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh that previously functioned as the Daily Record printing works.
As a vegan café, bar and music venue it draws a mixed crowd of students, veggies and music lovers alike. Sitting at brightly coloured tables in the laid-back bar customers can enjoy the premier draft and organic beers and wines. Additionally, Stereo's concise vegan menu is excellent. They bake all their own bread and cakes and the daily specials ensure there’s always something new to try.
The underground bar is colourfully painted, with posters promoting gigs and club nights in the basement plastered across the pillars. A mixed bill of indie, funk, rock and everything in between has seen them host intimate acoustic pleasures to full-blown Balkanarama raves. One of Glasgow's most popular eat-outs and gig venues, consistently proving they have some of the best taste in both food and music.
To top it off, the beloved veggie bar was voted one of your Favourite Pubs and Bars to grab a pint in our 2018 Food and Drink Survey.
