Established in 1996, Generator Projects is a Dundee-based exhibition space, which exists with the aim to provide artists of both the emerging and established flavours with an exhibition platform and the support to showcase their work.
The exhibition space is a non-profit organisation, and Generator Projects is lead by six artists who stay for a maximum of two years. This rotation ensures that ideas, programmes and events remain fresh - invigorated by the presence of new perspectives and opinions.
Visiting Generator Projects isn't really a bank-breaking pastime either. For a yearly fee of just £5, anyone can become a member. This annual membership includes regular update emails about upcoming exhibitions and opportunities, along with an invitation to participate in their annual Members' Show. Artists too can benefit hugely from membership thanks to Generator's MEMBERspotlight programme. A ruddy great opportunity for artists looking to expand their audience, the programme selects a member of the Generator community, showcases their work and places a feature on the website.
More information about the gallery, membershop and the MEMBERspotlight programme can be found via the Generator Projects website.
