Specialising in electro, dubstep, dance and house anthems, Manchester's prolific bar/club mixes pocket-friendly prices with the cream of live entertainment. An ever-popular but never try-hard venue, Sankeys' legacy has more recently expanded to clubs in Ibiza and New York, but still remains one of Manchester's best loved clubs. Since opening in 1994 the bar has gained a reputation for being a prime location for clubbing in Manchester, and has even been voted the number one dance club in the world. Though you'll typically find a number of resident DJs on a night out at Sankeys, the club has been known for hosting iconic one-off events from internationally-acclaimed DJs, having previously hosted performances from iconic acts including Daft Punk, Bjork and The Chemical Brothers.
