The Stand Comedy Club 3 & 4

The Stand Comedy Club 3 & 4 is another of The Stand's fringe venues. It is in pretty close proximity to The Stand's original venue on York Place, and its tented outpost The Stand in The Square at St Andrew Square.

Stand III is is a large theatre space where you'll catch some bigger names, whereas Stand IV is more of an intimate studio space. But, as they say, size isn't everything, and that point couldn't stand more at the fringe. In the words of Take That, have a little patience, check out some smaller-scale stuff at The Stand IV, and you could end up catching some amazing fringe debuts.

Both venues are accessible through courtyard on the basement level, and what's more there's a fully licensed bar at The Stand 3. The drinks are a little more limited at The Stand IV, but the silver lining is the lovely courtyard where you can sink the drink you've chosen from that limited selection of beverages.
