Soup Kitchen

Soup Kitchen has quickly climbed the ranks to cement its place as one of the busiest and best bars in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Located on a corner of Stevenson Square, during the day it's a chilled out place for a bite to eat from its canteen-style kitchen and communal style benches and tables. The Carribean inspired selection of food is made from scratch each day and the menu is very vegetarian and vegan friendly. At night the bar is often a popular choice for post-work drinks at quality prices, and when the basement opens up for club nights and live music, the venue's atmosphere changes completely. It's often been a starting point for bands who have taken off in recent years including Bipolar Sunshine, Circa Waves and Peace, with crowds of people squashing into the basement for a glimpse.
