Vashti Bunyan plays an acoustic version of 'Heartleap' in her home studio

The Godmother of Freak Folk, Vashti Bunyan invited us into her Edinburgh home to talk a little about the songs and story behind her new and, apparently, final album Heartleap. We were also given an opportunity to film a rehearsal in her home studio with guitarist Gareth Dickson.

In the first of a short series of sessions with Vashti you can watch here in the coming weeks, she plays the title track from her new album and tells us about the inspiration behind it.
