Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design

You wouldn't be wrong to suggest that Duncan of Jordanstone College is the throbbing artsy heart of University of Dundee. As an academic institution, it aims to guide students into alignment within the landscape of contemporary art and design, and provides resources and training to equip future artists with skills and experience. It actively engages with science, technology and the economy, enabling the college and its alumni to develop cultural narratives and explore the most relevant and crucial 21st century issues. The University itself was ranked number one in Scotland in the 2014 International Student Barometer - quite the compliment.

The college also plays home to the Cooper Gallery and Lower Foyer Gallery, in which they aim support, produce and disseminate the top class works from both national and international artists, creatives and writers.
