The Phoenix Edinburgh

A self-professed dedicated sports bar, The Phoenix is your go-to for sport on the big screen. There's a wicked selection of rotating cask ales among other drinks, and the promotions up for grabs most of the time means you can congratulate or console one another about the sporting events of the eve without breaking the bank. And, as they say, where there's sports there are hotdogs (or something like that)... Anyway - The Phoenix is brill for keeping full, tipsy and in the loop with all things sportif.

Speaking of hotdogs, we move on in a particularly tenuous manner to the subject of normal dogs. Pooches. Furry pals. They're welcome at The Phoenix, provided they're well behaved and don't bark over the footie commentary. Keep 'em on a lead and you're good to go!

And on top of all of this, they've got a brand spanky new live music and comedy venue called 48 Below, tucked away downstairs. It's up for hire, too, if you've got a wee shindig to throw.
