Heads and Tales

Did you know that they make gin in the bar beneath the Rutland Hotel? How utterly brilliant. Heads and Tales is in fact the home of Edinburgh Gin, and has two gin stills, Flora and Caledonia, on the premises working their magic. As well as the on-site distillery, Heads and Tales offers an extensive list of beers, wines and spirits and a strong cocktail list full of new and exciting concoctions. It’s a kind of tardis-style establishment which is nestled inconspicuously under the Rutland, offering a great addition to the New Town’s bustling bar scene.
