Frontier on Gillespie Place has been voted by The Skinny’s Food and Drink Survey 2016 as one of the best ‘World Food' places to visit in Edinburgh and Glasgow. It’s a place with an American theme that offers more than burgers, hot dogs and fries. Hooray! That’s not to say that burgers and hot dogs aren’t on the menu, that would be ridiculous, but it’s nice to know that Frontier know there is more to an entire country’s cuisine than that. If you fancy something different, mac and cheese is up there, as is fried chicken, ribs, stew and uh… catfish. Delicious! Dessert is not skimped on either: how about a bourbon-infused sticky toffee pudding, salted caramel and pretzel sundae, or the hard to turn down ‘great American pie of the day’? What we're saying here is LEAVE ROOM FOR PUDDING! The American theme extends to breakfast and brunch, where classic American pancakes are on the menu, as well as a more unusual steak and eggs skillet, or even grilled banana.
