Food is served all day in the Vic Bar, open to students and regular folk alike. What's more, the menu is cheap and cheerful, with all food freshly produced in-house. But it’s in art and music that the Art School has always shone, and since reopening, it’s quickly placing itself squarely back at the heart of one of the most charged cultural communities in the UK. Combining two gallery spaces with the café/bar and venue space, it’s a breeding ground for the cross-pollination of creative influences. It hosts a lively roster of gigs, club nights and exhibitions under one roof, continuing to draw international DJs and bands, as well as the cream of local talent. Due to its newly enhanced audio-visual capabilities, the Art School is now able to host ambitious and dynamic projects on a regular basis.
