The Hidden Lane Tea Room

The Hidden Lane Tearoom is, funnily enough, a tearoom, hidden down a lane called, er, The Hidden Lane. Tucked off Argyle Street in Argyle court it’s not the most obvious of locations, but definitely worth the effort to find. Inside it’s a shabby chic delight of vintage crockery, floral bunting and sugar bowls full of flowers. The crockery can be hired if you're hosting a vintage party, or indeed you can hire out the tearoom for your own private parties. Their food menu includes breakfast, a range of light lunch options, including the classic homemade soup and sandwich, as well as various hearty daily specials. Additionally, they've a large range of fruit teas and an ever changing selection of homebaking including brownies, scones and good old British Victoria sponge. If you can't chose, we'd suggest opting for the High Tea which allows you to enjoy a piece of each.
