Bar Fringe

Located on the fringe (pun intended) of Manchester’s Northern Quarter is this unassuming watering hole, Bar Fringe is a Belgian inspired bar that offers a great option for drinkers keen on authenticity and a huge variety of quality drinks. Whilst the exterior doesn’t give much away, once inside you’re met with eccentric decor (where else has a motorbike on the ceiling?!) and a varied and carefully thought out selection of tasty real ales and continental beers — you’d be hard pushed to find better elsewhere on the Manchester 'real ale trail'. The atmosphere is relaxed — a hearty mix between a traditional pub and a lively bar — veering more towards the latter as the night goes on. Chill out in the beer garden on warmer days, and try out the heavily Mancunian music-orientated jukebox inside. Bar Fringe is considered to be one of the top bars in Manchester by those in the know.
