Re-emerging onto the Edinburgh scene after a two year closure, the potentially catastrophic fire of 2008 has in fact seen The Liquid Room return totally refurbished for the absolute better. A bespoke new sound and lighting system is just one of the upgrades punters can enjoy and it has lost nothing of its local reputation during its time off.

With impressive live music and clubbing credentials, The Liquid Room regularly holds guest spots for the likes of the exalted Deadmau5, Sebastian Leger and Groove Armada and has hosted such alternative royalty as The Smashing Pumpkins. Its inspired weekly and one-off club nights are the stuff of local legend, throwing out old school indie elitism in favour of a truly eclectic musical experience – favourites steadily remaining Tribe and Propoganda. It’s the go-to place for those who care about their music as much as the DJs, not to mention that it’s also available for hire for a decent rate.
